Pasteur Jackson

After the devastating earthquake hit Haiti in 2010, Pastor Jackson partnered with a missionary organization to start a kids club in his local community to teach the children about God, assist in helping them to realize their gifts, and give the children a safe place to play and learn. This was a great start, but more needed done to begin to see the fruits of God's plan.

By the end of 2011, Pastor Jackson had two kids clubs established in the community of Cabaret. However, he had a desire to reach more than just the kids in the area. Pastor Jackson knew in his heart that he needed to continue to reach the youth in order for the opportunity to reach their families and to make a real change in Haiti. Pastor Jackson's focus was now to introduce Jesus to the lost kids and youth of the community. As the movement grew, the next step was obvious - a church plant.

Grace Church Cabaret opened in early 2012. Since the beginning of the church, it has changed locations and continues to serve the community of Cabaret. In 2015, a school sponsorship program was introduced to help pay for the schooling of the children who attend Grace Church Cabaret.  Pastor Jackson quickly realized that God was calling him to take the next big step in faith - starting a school at Grace Church Cabaret. The school impacts and serves the youth not just of the church, but also the youth in the community.

Building a school takes money and time, but Pastor Jackson has remained hopeful and diligent in this calling to build a school for the community of Cabaret. His hope is to have the school established and opened by September 2019, in time for the 2019-2020 school year. Pictured above is the land where the school will be built.
